Sky Dog the Art Space will be featuring the talented Farrell Cockrum for the month of April. To celebrate Sky Dog will be hosting an open house for Farrell Cockrum's Show on Saturday, April 4th from 5:00-7:30PM. Cockrum is a contemporary Native American artist that is sure to impress all who attend! Refreshments will be available so please come and enjoy the show! The gallery is located at 7103 4th Street NW Building M, Los Ranchos, New Mexico 87107.

Cockrum is from the Blackfeet Nation in northern Montana and has used his own history to inspire his magnificent artwork. Using rich texture and vivid color, Cockrum brings his subjects to life. His subjects range from native figures to wildlife, including the western bred horse, the Eagle, and American Bison. Cockrum studied art at the Institute of American Indian Arts in Santa Fe, New Mexico in the early 1980’s. He lives and paints in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Cockrum’s work is well known throughout the southwest as well as collected across the world.
